Gatwick Airport was used for many years for flights from and to the United States instead of Heathrow Airport, because of an agreement between the UK and the US airways. Talks about launching services by Delta Air Lines between Gatwick and Logan International Airport have been going on before COVID-19, plans which are now on hold.
